well- carol steered me to the site where i need to look at stopping cold- to refresh- i have been drinking and had a bout with drugs 10 or so yrs ago(havent touched the coke and whatever for 15 yrs) - anyway drinking for 25+ yrs- but i am taking clonazapam drs orders for a year- well i am not sure how to do this- i think i will taper?? would really like to not die. i hate the drinking- and the drs rx helps (history of bipolar in my fam but im not). anyway - weird converstation. but i hate driniking. its does nothing good for me. i must be complicated

AH's brother called me today to let me know the times for Christmas at his house and such:). Then he asks me about the family vacation for this summer.

Our families always go on vacation together in the summer AH's brother and fam. his folks, our fam, and last year my sil's parents and my mom too. SIL makes the arrangements etc.. He said they were wanted to get the flights booked and wanted me to check and see if my mom wanted to go again etc..

MAN! How do I say it to him. I cannot commit to a family vacation right now! I have one foot out the door. Don't get me wrong I still feel there is a chance for my marriage, BUT a LOT would have to happen first!

Part of me wants to call him and tell him we cannot commit and explain exactly WHY and what is going on in the marriage (ie. my planning to seperate, AH "problem" etc.) I almost want him to know??

but I dunno if it is my place? I mean I am going to have to tell him something soon...the trip needs to be booked and I can't predict where the marriage will be 6 months from now!...ahhhh

You know getting my stuff back has been a real kick. I was just going through my desk drawers looking for a USB cord for this digi cam I have and in my desk drawer is a Corona bottle cap, an MGD lable, two wine keys, a Bass ale coaster, a picture of my XH's butt. Oh yeah, the $10 radio I bought when I lived out of my truck for over a week.......LITERALLY!!!!! Jesus, did I need to get a freakin' grip on life.

Of course there are a lot of good things in there too. It's fun getting your stuff when you haven't had it in a while. My High School diploma, graduated 20 years ago, but it's in there. Cards from my kids, souvenir license plates with our names on them, pix of my fam. Like Christmas!!!!!!
